So far, I have successfully made several, beautifully moist, lemon drizzle cakes (my father's favourite), Victoria sponges, chocolate sponges, rainbow cakes, doughnuts, lemon tartlets (my mother's favourite), pretzels, brownies and a selection of different breads. I am constantly adding more and more products to my list, and I love to experiment with new ingredients and recipes. So if there is anything you would like me to try, I will happily give it a go.
A quick note from my Mummy:
Please note that Tabby has been diagnosed with a severe allergy to peanuts (ground nuts) and kiwi fruit, and due to this we always stay extremely clear of these and do not allow them into our kitchen at all. Tabby has also been advised to stay away from nuts (tree nuts), therefore whilst she never knowingly uses nuts in her cooking, some of the ingredients we use in our kitchen do state that they 'may contain traces of nuts' or that they are 'produced in a factory that handles nuts'. If the labelling ever mentions peanuts in any form, then those ingredients are banned!
Also, as Tabby's Coeliac disease means she is 'intolerant of', rather than 'allergic to', gluten, we do have foods and ingredients in our kitchen which have the presence of cereals containing gluten. Whilst Tabby is building up her own selection of pink utensils, at present we all share the Kenwood Chef (as we have not yet been able to purchase her own separate pink one!). She does, though, always ensure it is totally clean and ready to use for her gluten free baking.
